Objective:
The client wanted to find more buyers for their BOPP packaging in Australia.
Approach 1
We accessed the trade data of imports to Australia, however since the trade data is not released by Australia, we were not able to get this information. We tried finding it from the other route, via exporter countries. Here also we were not able to get any concrete information.
Approach 2
From the consumer industry, we listed all the big food manufacturers in Australia. We studied products they are producing / selling. For each company we checked the packaging for their product and shortlisted the companies which have BOPP packaging for their products.
Using only approach 2 we created a list of companies which fit the client’s target criteria.
We created detailed profiles of the company along with contact information of key personnel.
Outcome:
We could find 679 companies from the Food Industry, Pharmaceutical Industry, Cosmetics and Personal Care Industry as per the given criteria.
A Detailed Company report was made for 385 companies.
